Yes yes y'all - it's National Hot Dog Day. I don't care where you are, that's reason to celebrate. We fêted this sacred day by planking hot dogs...the whole thing. Made the buns from scratch and BBQ'd those bad boys raw right on the plank.
Recipe: Dough: 2 cups white flour 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar 1 cup warm water 1 tbsp of oil 1 tsp of yeast 4 x jumbo hotdogs 1. Soak a plank for 2 hours. Make your dough by mixing together all the ingredients in a bowl and let rise for at least 30 minutes. 2, Cut dough into 4 and roll into 6 inch rolls. Take a weiner and press into the middle, grabbing some of the sides and pulling up over. 3. Place on the grill at 400 for 15 minutes. On my Weber, I leave all burners on just below half. Serve with your favourite condiments. Get it into ya! Want more grill rebellion? Check out @BBQRebel on Instagram.

What's in a name? Don't be fooled, y'all - just because it says to toast something, doesn't mean I won't grill it. Recipe: 8 slices of thick Texas toast 3 eggs 1 cup of milk 1 1/2 tsp of cinnamon 1 tsp of nutmeg 1 tsp of vanilla extract 1. Beat the eggs, stir in milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Turn grill onto low-medium heat. 2. Soak both sides of each slice of bread until saturated, then slap on the grill. Should take about 5-7 minutes per side. Flip once. 3. Serve with syrup and bacon, obviously. Get it into ya! Want more grill rebellion? Follow @BBQRebel on Instagram.

Garlic and butter is good on anything but it's incredibly good to sautée garden-fresh beans and some mushrooms. And it's so easy, it's criminal. Recipe: 4 cups green beans 2 cups chopped mushrooms 1/4 cup butter 3 cloves garlic 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 1. Place your butter in the bottom of a seasoned cast iron pan. Grate the garlic, and throw it in the beans and mushrooms and place over medium direct heat for 15 minutes. 2. Stir frequently, sprinkle the grated cheese and stir in. Serve and get it into ya. Sometimes buns get in the way. These wraps are wicked, especially if you're not a bread eater or want to focus on the juicy goodness of your burger.
Fusilli Parmesan pesto with chicken in a white wine reduction. Nothing reduced about that grilled taste, fam.
If you don't like warm banana choco chip muffins, you're dead to me. If you don't think you can be slightly aroused by muffins, you've never had them apple-smoked.
We took these bad boys to the beach and ate 'em. Who doesn't like a good chicken salad sandwich on a hot summer day? Might seem like a long recipe for sandwiches but, trust us, they're worth it.
